Synopsis "Woman of Valor: A Restorative Journey"

We are called to be women of valor who boldly proclaim the Gospel message of Christ. As we study Proverbs 31:10-31 - in light of the women of the New Testament who suffered, received mercy and learned at the feet of Jesus. We learn about the Samaritan Woman at the Well, Mary the Mother of Jesus, Mary and Martha, the woman who touch the hem of his garment, Mary Magdalene, the adulterous woman, and Anna who spent her life in the Temple waiting to see the Messiah. Each of those women were forever transformed by Jesus as they were touched by his love and grace. As we study Proverbs 31 and the gospels we will explore God's hope for women in the 21st Century. Through an integrative study of scripture and applicable spiritual practice, our intention is to expand our personal understanding of who God has called us to be as women who follow Christ. As we study we are also transformed by God's love through Jesus Christ. Woman of Valor is an integrative Bible Study that gives the "big picture". Companion books to Woman of Valor include the Woman of Valor Workbook, the Woman of Valor Daily Guide, the Woman of Valor Journal, and the Woman of Valor Teaching Guide.
