Synopsis "Timmy. The Screenplay"

From Jenner Arriaga, his first published screenplay is described as Lawrence of Arabia meets Ferris Bueller's Day Off...

Timmy - a hard-working, straight-A student - navigates through high school with his best friend Klark. The two become distant when Timmy meets a new group of troublemaking kids. He spends time with them and decides to disregard his education. Conflict rises between Timmy and Justin - the leader of his new group of friends - leading to Justin taking Timmy to a dangerous building associated with organized crime. Timmy manages to escape, however, due to a tactical team raiding the location. Another of Timmy's new friends - a kid known only as "John" - also manages to escape. Timmy - having enjoyed the adrenaline rush - decides to strike a partnership with "John" who works for a crime group that operates in the criminal underworld. The crime groups within this hidden world have maintained structure and peace by following rules and upholding so-called honor. Honor, family, friendships, and the city are at stake once events spiral out of control. Events that break the peace of the organized crime world and have chaos spread across the city.

Timmy is "a John Hughes coming-of-age story meets a David Lean epic with a healthy splash of a Jenner Arriaga thriller" for ages 18 and up.
