Dr. Robert B. Stone was a world-renowned author, teacher, and counselor. He authored or co-authored 87 published books, some with sales over a million copies, as well as dozens of magazine articles. His non-fiction books, ranging from the new age to diet books, were published in 19 languages. He was also an internationally known speaker on human potential. He taught for many years at the University of Hawaii on activating the powers of the mind. A member of MENSA and a graduate of MIT, he was elected to the New York Academy of Sciences.

José Silva was born in Texas in 1914 and died in 1999. Since the forties, he dedicated himself to the research of the mind, its processes, and possibilities. He paid special attention to the intellectual quotient, brain rhythms, biofeedback, meditation and relaxation techniques, hypnosis, and parapsychology. The Silva Method of Mind Control, a product of this research, was made public in 1966, with great impact both inside and outside the United States, as it was translated into more than thirty languages.
