Synopsis "Before After"

In the small Western New York town of North Tonawanda (NT), a stone's throw from Niagara Falls, there is a small gang of semi-delinquent, high school-age friends who hang out together and try to stay out of serious trouble. These friends become peripherally involved in a series of similar-type murders in and around NT. Young, wise-guy detective Charlie Corelli, has his eye on a particular suspect. Even though the detective does not have the proof he needs to make an arrest, and even though one of the friends is already in jail, Corelli will not give up his dogged pursuit of Geno Cantore. Time passes and Geno is gliding through his college years, continually annoyed by Detective Corelli, but more interested in hockey, beer, and women. And then, Geno meets the woman of his dreams; beautiful, brash attorney Cher Summerfield. Attorney Summerfield is doing her best to become a partner at her law firm and sees Geno; who just had a short-lived brush with notoriety, as a stepping stone to achieving her goal. Just when Geno believes Detective Corelli has finally given up his pursuit of him, new evidence, from the unlikeliest of sources, surfaces, and Geno is arrested for multiple murders. Before After is a mystery "whodunnit" that includes resilient friendship, murder, courtroom drama, prison life, celebrity, love, and betrayal.
