August 1967 in Garatshausen) war ein sterreichischer Schauspieler, der sich im englischen Exil Anton Walbrook nannte. Wohlbrck wurde als Sohn des Hamburger Zirkusclowns Adolf II. Wohlbrck geboren, er stammte aus einer jdischen Familie mit langer Schauspieltradition. Nach dem Besuch einer Klosterschule in Wien und dem Gymnasium in Berlin nahm er Schauspielunterricht an der Schule von Max Reinhardt. Im Ersten Weltkrieg geriet er in franzsische Gefangenschaft, wo er das Aucher Gefangenschaftstheater grndete, und setzte danach seine Karriere am verschiedenen Bhnen in Mnchen, Dresden und Berlin fort. Er hatte 1915 sein Filmdebt in Marionetten von Richard Lwenbein und spielte dann gelegentlich in Stummfilmen mit, doch erst mit dem Tonfilm trat er regelmig auf. Er verkrperte den eleganten, weltmnnischen Gentleman, oft an der Seite von Renate Mller (Viktor und Viktoria, Die englische Heirat).
