Tomás Gómez-Díaz Roncero
Tomás Gómez-Díaz Roncero, known as Tomás Roncero, was born on May 9, 1965 in Villarrubia de los Ojos, Ciudad Real, Spain. He holds a degree in Information Sciences from the Complutense University of Madrid and began his journalistic career in media such as Mundo Deportivo and La Vanguardia. Later, he worked at the Colpisa agency and at the newspaper El Mundo. He is currently the deputy director of the newspaper AS, specializing in information about Real Madrid, a team of which he is a recognized supporter.
In addition to his work in print media, Roncero participates in radio programs such as Carrusel Deportivo on Cadena SER and on television he is a commentator on El Chiringuito de Jugones. Among his works are "La Quinta del Buitre" (2002) and "¡Hala Madrid!" (2012), both focused on the history and passion for the merengue club.
