Susana Sierra Álvarez
Susana Sierra Álvarez (León, 1962) is a Spanish writer, playwright, and editor, notable in the field of theater and text editing. She began her career in independent theater in León as an actress and assistant director, while studying Hispanic Philology. Later, she trained at the Royal Higher School of Dramatic Art (RESAD) in Madrid, where she worked as an actress in various productions and collaborated on TVE programs. Her career also includes tasks in theatrical production and distribution, as well as organizing workshops for children and adults.

As a playwright, she has written works such as I'm so glad to see you (2020), It's just sex or not (2019), and It's also cold inside (2019), among others. Her style is characterized by precise and clean writing, often tinged with irony and humor, addressing themes such as identity, intergenerational relationships, and the emotional complexity of women. Her work seeks to show human vulnerability with a benevolent and non-judgmental gaze.

Additionally, she is the author of the book Guide to Correcting Dramatic Texts. How to face a dramatic text without it being a drama, considered an essential reference for the correction and editing of theatrical texts in Spain and Latin America.
