There's nothing I enjoy more than bringing a story to life. Writing "Pookie and Dookie Become Friends" with author Robyn Flans has been an honor since she proposed it to me to illustrate. Other amazing books I've illustrated include "Mama Graciela's Secret" by author Mayra Calvani, "My Milk Will Go, Our Love Will Grow" by social worker Jessica Elder, as well as "Okelani's Enchanted Wheelchair Space Bound!" (Book and coloring book), written by Alexandra Sanchez
Being a native New Yorker, transplanted to the Santa Monica mountains in Los Angeles, has given me a unique perspective. Having raised four wonderful daughters with my husband and now being Gami to two grandsons and a granddaughter, makes life inspiring
Whether I'm creating a painting for the pleasure of creating or using my art to illustrate, I seek to work without criticism.
