Pilar Cereceda
Pilar Cereceda Troncoso is a distinguished Chilean geographer, known for her extensive career in research and university teaching. She has been a professor at the Institute of Geography of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and has significantly contributed to the study of climatic and hydrological processes in arid zones.
Among her most notable works is "Hidrografía" (1984), co-written with Hans Niemeyer Fernández, which addresses fundamental aspects of Chilean hydrography.
