Biography
Born in 1952 in Tumaco, Colombia. He completed his studies in Industrial Engineering at the Technological University of Pereira in 1977. He graduated as a Specialist in Finance from EAFIT University in Medellín in 1980. He began as a contributor to the newspapers El País and Occidente in Cali, El Puerto, and La Batalla in Buenaventura. He has been a contributor to El Magazín El Espectador in Bogotá, where they have published his stories and tales, and to La Tarde and Diario del Otún in the ARTS section of Pereira; Página10 in Pasto. His writings have been published in Las2Orillas in Bogotá, Letralia Magazine in Venezuela; La Sirena Varada Magazine in Mexico, and Ekuóreo Magazine in Colombia. He has been included in various anthologies of stories and micro-stories in Colombia, Spain, Uruguay, and Mexico. He is the executive director of the Foundation of Writers of the Colombian Pacific —Fuespacol.

Awards
During his student activity, he received the Medal of Excellence as the best student of the National Lyceum Max Seidel of Tumaco in 1968. In his professional life, he was decorated as the Best Executive of the Year by the Junior Chamber of Colombia in Buenaventura in 1986. The Cesar Egido Serrano Foundation and the Museum of the Word in Madrid, Spain, named him Ambassador of the Spanish Language of his country in the world, in 2018. Winner of the First Prize for Unpublished Novel in the Cultura Viva de Nariño 2023 contest with the novel “And fly, fly, fly”.
