Kevin Morley

Passionate about promoting excellence in teaching and learning, Kevin has acquired a lifetime of experience teaching children from all walks of life in schools in the UK and Singapore. He believes it is essential for teachers to motivate their students by stimulating their imagination and giving them the means to achieve their goals

From 1992 to 2015, Kevin taught English A and B and Theory of Knowledge at the United World College of Southeast Asia. For much of this time, he was Head of the Bilingual Diploma Programme and also coordinated Self-Taught Language Schools with Support

Kevin is the author of several Oxford IB course books, including; the DP English B textbook, the IB prepared English B, and the MYP English Language Acquisition resources (capable and competent)

Kevin was a workshop leader for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in English A and B and School-Supported Language A and has also contributed to the IB Language A and B curriculum review committees

In addition to his IB-related materials, Kevin has also provided OUP with interactive teacher training modules on research-based learning. He is a contributor to Over to You (OUP China): a set of audio and oral materials for university use in Chinese universities

He holds a Master's in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the University of Manchester
