Kenny Werner
Born on November 19, 1951 in Brooklyn, New York, he is an American pianist and composer recognized for his contribution to contemporary jazz. From an early age, he showed exceptional talent for music, starting his training in classical piano and participating in singing and dancing ensembles. Throughout his career, he has worked with prominent musicians and has released several albums that have been critically acclaimed. In addition to his musical career, Werner is the author of several books on music and personal development.

Among his most notable works are: Effortless Mastery: Liberating the Master Musician Within (1996), a book that offers innovative approaches to overcoming creative blocks and reaching maximum musical potential; Becoming the Instrument: Lessons on Self-Mastery from Music to Life (2018), where he shares lessons on self-understanding and personal growth through music; among others.
These works focus on the personal and professional development of musicians, offering tools to improve technique, performance, and mental health in music. In 2010, Werner received the Guggenheim Award in the category of Musical Composition, recognizing his excellence and contribution to the world of music.
