José Tcherkaski
José Tcherkaski is an Argentine writer, journalist, and composer born on August 25, 1944, in Buenos Aires. He is mainly recognized for having written the iconic song "Mi Viejo" in 1969, performed by Piero, which pays tribute to his father, Mario, a Russian Jewish immigrant.

Throughout his career, Tcherkaski has published more than 30 books, covering genres such as poetry, chronicles, and interviews. Among his works are "Cosas de Buenos Aires" (1965), a collection of poems that reflect his vision of the city, and "Chau, no va más" (2023), based on interviews that explore his personal and professional trajectory. Additionally, he has ventured into theater with "Rebeldes exquisitos" (2009), which features conversations with prominent figures from the Argentine theatrical scene.
