Gabriela Insua
Gabriela Insua is a psychoanalyst and writer. Born in Buenos Aires Province and adopted by the city of Buenos Aires. She practices clinical and private clinical supervision in Buenos Aires. She is a clinical supervisor in the Mental Health Services, in the adolescence teams of several hospitals in Buenos Aires and the PRIM Residences. She is a founder, supervisor, and teacher of the Team for Addressing the Effects of Traumatic Events at Centro Dos.
She is the author of the books: Back to the Method. Praise of the Freudian Invention from Lacan (2010), Do Not Pathologize Adolescence (2012), Hopefully You Fall in Love. About the Love Logic in Adolescence (2015), Jump from the Cradle. Adolescent Subjectivity. The Right to the Symptom (2017), How Could She Wake Up with That Wound? Subdued States in Adolescence (2022), all published by Editorial Letra Viva. Adolescent Eroticism in Times of the Green Tide (2020), Sexual Abuse in Childhood and Adolescence. The Most Silenced Horror (2020), published by La Docta Ignorancia, this last book was declared of Social and Health Interest by the Legislature of Buenos Aires City in 2021.
