Since his childhood, his taste and study for reading – which he never neglected – led him to study Universal Culture and History, with an emphasis on ancient Greece and Rome. These studies sparked his interest in the mythology of these two civilizations. This topic has since been one of his favorites.
Also from a young age, he developed a great interest in the biographies of illustrious figures, and it was then that he was particularly drawn to the life of the Liberator Simón Bolívar. In Tunja, where he studied high school with the Jesuits, he received little information about this historical figure and therefore decided to expand it on his own through study and research. The result was having known and understood the life of the hero in a deeper, broader, and more humane way, which is what he has tried to share with us in his books.
Now retired, he has been able to fully dedicate himself to reading, researching, and publishing books on various topics.
