Dr. Raymond Perrin
Dr. Raymond Perrin is a British osteopath and neuroscientist known for his research and treatment of myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS) and, more recently, long COVID. Graduated in 1984 from the British School of Osteopathy in London, he has dedicated his career to exploring the underlying causes of these complex disorders.

In 1989, he developed the Perrin Technique, a manual approach that combines osteopathic diagnosis with cerebral lymphatic drainage to treat ME/CFS. His initially controversial hypothesis posited that the accumulation of toxins in the cerebrospinal fluid and poor lymphatic drainage in the brain were key factors in the development of these conditions. Subsequent research has supported this theory, including the confirmation in 2017 of the existence of the human brain's lymphatic system.

In 2005, he earned a PhD for his thesis on lymphatic drainage in ME/CFS at the University of Salford. He is currently an honorary researcher at the University of Manchester and a lecturer at the German School of Osteopathy. He has published in international medical journals and was awarded the Research and Practice Award by the Institute of Osteopathy in 2015.

His technique has helped thousands of patients and is taught in clinics and universities around the world.
