Álvaro Umpierrez
Álvaro Umpiérrez Rapetti is an internationally recognized author and teacher in the field of self-defense, with a solid background in martial arts and personal development. He began his career in 2007 as a ninjutsu instructor and, after receiving recognition from the Japanese Cultural Association of Uruguay in 2008, moved to Spain in 2016. In Spain, he published his first book and was nominated for the Victoria Alada awards. In 2017, he received the award from the Warrior Spirit Awards and, in 2018, completed the DOJO SOCIAL project with a special mention from the Junta de Extremadura.
Umpiérrez has written several books that combine his experience in self-defense with principles of personal growth and conflict resolution.
