This new book, William Stamps Cherry - They Called Me 'Demba Creecy' is the backstory to the other book, William Stamps Cherry - Into the Dark Unknown - Central Africa in 1899, referred to as 'the explorer's report.' This book is referred to as 'the hunter's report.' In it you will meet his older step-brother, James Harvey, and his friend, Charles McClintock. You will learn much about ivory and African elephants. You will also learn much about real hunting in the wild.
