Synopsis "The Voyager"

Magic is real. Or is it? Following the tragic death of her father, psychiatrist Dr. Ann Rose (PhD) finds herself totally alone in the world and spirals into a deep depression. She turns her back on everything she knows in favour of a life on the road in her little camper van. Two years later she finds she has inherited a house (and a cat) deep in the wilds of mid Wales from a relative of a mother she never knew. Having felt totally alone for so long Ann finds herself thrust into a family she never knew existed; her tiny aunts who chatter incessantly, and her enormous cousin, Fychan. Having seen the ancient home - which Ann insists must be a dream - the aunts are sure of Ann's status as a witch but the finely trained mind of the psychiatrist knows this must be a delusion. She travels back in time to learn and understand what it means to be part of this ancient family but Ann must suspend her disbelief, forget everything she thinks is normal, and open herself up to the possibility that things are not what they always appear to be. Is she going mad or can this really be happening? Magic, shape-shifting, and dragons only confuse Ann further until the climax of her amazing adventure makes her see that, sometimes, magic can be real. With the support of Leigh Jones and Father Francis, Ann's life is changed for ever and at last she finds her home and a way to save her family, her farm and her future.
