Sāṅkhya Darśana is the oldest of the six philosophies of Bharat that follow the Vedas as their authority. Sāṅkhya deals with the theoretical knowledge of embodiment (bondage) and disembodiment (liberation) of the soul.The study of this original text discards hypothetical theories claiming that Sāṅkhya does not believe in the existence of God.
