Synopsis "The Red Badge Of Courage"

it is a war novel written by American author Stephen Crane (1871-1900). Set in the American Civil War, the story follows the adventures of a member of the Union Army soldier, Henry Fleming, after escaping from the battlefield for fear of war. Distraught experiencing embarrassment later, longs obtain a wound-a "Red Badge of Courage" - intended to counter their cowardice. When his regiment is once again facing the enemy, Henry acts as flag bearer.
