Dana Frank is a distinguished historian and professor at the University of California, Santa Cruz. Her work focuses on labor history and social movements in Latin America and the United States. Among her main works is "Bananeras: Women Transforming the Banana Unions of Latin America" (2005), which analyzes the role of women in the banana unions of Latin America.
