Boone was a Christian man, who had faith in God. He made his children feel important, loved, and appreciated and enjoyed his rural living, especially farming. He had a passion for raising beautiful farm animals and harvesting crops in the fall. His silhouette is still standing in the fields today.About the AuthorMarie B. Jackson-Peoples, BS, MS, M.Ed. grew up in a Christian home in rural Caroline County, Virginia. Recent published books are A Book of Short Stories and Spunky Craig. She has also published articles, as a result of attending the Institute of Children's Literature Program in Connecticut. Jackson-Peoples spent her career working in the public schools of Washington, DC.
