Chris Colfer (born May 27, 1990 in Clovis, California) is an American actor, singer, and writer. He gained international recognition for his role as Kurt Hummel in the musical series "Glee" (2009–2015), a performance that earned him the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor in a Series in 2011.

In addition to his acting career, Colfer is the author of the successful fantasy book series "The Land of Stories". The first book, "The Land of Stories: The Wishing Spell" (2012), was followed by titles such as "The Land of Stories: The Enchantress Returns" (2013) and "The Land of Stories: A Grimm Warning" (2014). These books, aimed at young audiences, blend classic fairy tales with new adventures. Although initially published in English, they have been translated into several languages, including Spanish.
