Judith S. Beck es una psicóloga clínica estadounidense reconocida internacionalmente por su trabajo en terapia cognitiva. Nació en 1954 y es hija de Aaron T. Beck, el creador de la terapia cognitiva. Siguiendo el legado de su padre, Judith ha sido una de las figuras más influyentes en el desarrollo, aplicación y enseñanza de la terapia cognitivo-conductual (TCC).

Es presidenta del Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavior Therapy, organización que cofundó junto a su padre, y desde allí ha formado a miles de profesionales de la salud mental en todo el mundo. También es profesora clínica de psicología en la Universidad de Pensilvania.

Judith S. Beck es autora de varios libros fundamentales en el campo de la psicoterapia, entre ellos "Terapia Cognitiva: Teoría y Práctica", considerado un texto clave para la formación en TCC. Su enfoque es claro, estructurado y centrado en ayudar a los pacientes a identificar y cambiar patrones de pensamiento disfuncionales.
