Patricia May Urzúa es una antropóloga, escritora y pensadora chilena. Estudió Antropología en la Universidad de Chile y se tituló en 1979. A lo largo de su trayectoria ha trabajado y escrito sobre temas relacionados con la sociedad, la cultura, el desarrollo humano y la conciencia. También ha participado como columnista en medios de comunicación chilenos, entre ellos la revista El Sábado de El Mercurio.
Entre sus libros destacan Todos los reinos palpitan en ti, publicado en 2001, Certezas en un mundo incierto, De la Tierra al Alma y Ando lento. Sus obras reflexionan sobre la vida cotidiana, la conciencia, los cambios personales y la relación entre las personas y el mundo que las rodea.
Patricia May ha recibido diversos reconocimientos por su aporte al pensamiento y al desarrollo social en Chile. En 2001 fue distinguida por el Gobierno de Chile como una de las mujeres destacadas por su contribución desde las ciencias sociales. Además, entre 2004 y 2006 fue elegida entre las 100 mujeres líderes de Chile. En 2007 recibió el Premio a la Coherencia, otorgado por la Fundación Laura Rodríguez.
Su trabajo busca promover una mirada más consciente sobre la sociedad, la naturaleza y la vida humana, convirtiéndola en una autora reconocida dentro del pensamiento contemporáneo chileno.
