Synopsis "Terralepus Falling Star"

Estella closed her eyes and raised her head. She stood there immersed in the pleasure of feeling the wind. She opened her eyes and gently smiled; something she hadn't done in a while. Estella walked over toward the lake and watched as the wind gently tossed a few fallen leaves around. She placed her fingers through the laced metal fence and stood there, watching the water shimmer in the moonlight. It was beautiful. A figure silently watched Estella as she stood there. Eyes wide, he breathed hard as he watched her tattered dress move with the wind. He sat still on the grass, hidden near the tree as he continued to watch. Estella slowly walked away. He leaned forward and slowly followed her. He stopped when she did. Estella pulled her hair back and the figure inhaled sharply. Estella turned toward the sound. They both stood still, listening and waiting. Finally, Estella, still listening carefully, looked up at the moon. "Oh, Lumen, if you can hear me; know that I still love you." She turned her head slightly to listen. When she heard nothing, she sighed and slowly headed back to the building. "Oh, my falling star," groaned a voice. Estella quickly turned and stared at the figure that was standing there. She walked over, her heart beating faster, her paws starting to sweat. She drew close and gasped as they stared at each other. "I have died and gone to heaven," he exclaimed. "I must have."
