Takumi Fukui is a Japanese screenwriter and mangaka, co-author with Shinya Umemura and illustrated by Azychika of Shūmatsu no Valkyrie (Record of Ragnarok), a series that began in November 2017. It falls within the seinen genre of fantasy and action, featuring epic duels between gods and human heroes. The series continues to be published and has amassed over 24 volumes, translated into Spanish by Editorial Ivrea.

He has not received formal literary awards, but his popularity supports him: it is estimated that he has sold more than 9 million copies and reached the 5th place on the Kono Manga ga Sugoi! list in 2019. Additionally, it has been adapted into anime (first season in 2021 and second in 2023), which reinforces its significance in the global manga landscape.
