Elsa Luisa Maria Schiaparelli (1890-1973) fue una diseñadora de moda italiana que revolucionó la alta costura parisina al fusionar moda, arte y surrealismo. Fundadora de la Maison Schiaparelli en París, se convirtió en una de las creadoras más influyentes de las décadas de 1930 y 1940. Sus colaboraciones con artistas como Salvador Dalí y Jean Cocteau dieron lugar a piezas icónicas que desafiaron las convenciones estéticas de su tiempo. Entre sus aportaciones más recordadas figuran el uso del célebre “shocking pink”, los efectos trompe-l'œil y diseños que transformaron la moda en una forma de expresión artística.
