This book consists of three short stories namely, The Pony Princess, Rose And The Magic Mirror and Jungle World.The Pony Princess A Princess who loves ponies is in search of her Queen Mother who has been kidnapped by a witch. With assistance from her friends, she goes on a search and rescue mission to free her mother. To the group's great dismay, the individual who provided information on the kidnapping was the very same one who carried out the act....the witch. Her motive was to trick the children and lure them to the forest. With guidance from an old man, the children were able to disguise themselves as the witch's maids. They then travelled to several countries with the witch and collected five (5) crystals which they used to rescue the Queen Mother. The rescue ended with the witch's death by fire.Rose And The Magic Mirror Rose, a young girl, noticed an unfamiliar Variety Store in the neighbourhood. The store seemed to have appeared overnight. However, being an inquisitive individual she ventured into the store and saw a beautiful mirror which she thought would fit her bedroom perfectly. She bought the mirror not knowing that it had magical powers. Her experiences with the mirror, the store and store-owner were indeed very scary.Jungle World A little green light on a satellite photograph led a scientist and some astronauts into out-of-space to carry out an investigation. Their trip took them to the planet Pluto where they discovered animals that could not only talk but behave like human beings. Amazed by this spectacle, the scientist decided to take some photographs of the scene. This grave mistake led to his capture by the animals. However, he was later rescued by his astronaut friends.
