Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2023 im Fachbereich Literaturwissenschaft - Literatur der Romantik, Note: 1,0, Universität zu Köln, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Arbeit behandelt Roman Jakobsons linguistische Poetik, genauer seine Antwort auf die Frage, was ein literarisches Werk ausmacht. Dabei soll nachvollzogen werden, inwiefern sich in Jakobsons Theorie formalistische und strukturalistische Elemente wiederfinden. Dazu wird zunächst im ersten Kapitel eine kurze Übersicht über die Grundmotive von Formalismus und Strukturalismus gegeben. Anschlie end wird im zweiten Kapitel Jakobsons einflussreiches Kommunikationsmodell dargestellt, auf dessen Grundlage im dritten Kapitel seine Theorie der 'poetischen Funktion' der Sprache und damit seine Theorie literarischer Sprache einer näheren Betrachtung unterzogen wird. In Form eines Exkurses wird sodann anhand einer berühmten Analyse von Baudelaires Gedicht Les Chats, die Jakobson gemeinsam mit dem französischen Ethnologen Claude Lévi-Strauss verfasst hat, gezeigt, wie sich die Prinzipien der strukturalistischen Literaturbetrachtungen in der Praxis anwenden lassen.
