Synopsis "Relations, Echanges, Transferts En Occident Au Cours Des Derniers Siecles Du Moyen Age. Hommage a Werner Paravicini: Actes Du Colloque de Paris (4-6 D (in French)"

In the later Middle Ages one can observe an intensification of the relations and exchanges between the various European countries: men and goods pass frontiers in increasing numbers; political connections and diplomatic exchanges multiply; cultural, technological or literary transfers transform the ways of life, the organizational structures and modes of thought throughout the whole of Europe. The present contributions converge to shed light on these topics and aim to build up a comparative history of Europe at the end of the Middle Ages. They also pay tribute to the work and personality of one of the most eminent pioneers in the field, Werner Paravicini.
