Von zwölf der skurrilen und meist mit subtilem Humor betitelten Skulpturen des niederländischen Künstlers Ben Schasfoort hat Erich Krause sich zu ironischen (und zum Teil auch nachdenklichen) Gedichten anregen lassen. Auf einer Doppelseite stehen sich jeweils das Foto einer Skulptur und ein Gedicht mit "krausen Gedanken" dazu gegenüber. Es ist sozusagen im wahrsten Sinne des Wortes der Versuch, sich einen Reim darauf zu machen. Da kommt unter anderem auch schon mal die mehr oder weniger ernst gemeinte Frage auf: "... ist die gestalt vielleicht nur eine täuschung, eine üble? hats seinen zweck dadurch erreicht dass ich darüber qualvoll grüble?"
