Esta es una obra maestra del cómic. Preferimos no explicar aquí la trama de la historia, para que el que la lea por primera vez, pueda disfrutarla totalmente. Desde el principio, los sucesos se encadenan a un ritmo trepidante: se oye una explosión, estalla una tormenta, objetos que se rompen, se corta la luz y Serafín Latón llega por primera vez a la serie. En toda la historia no habrá prácticamente ningún tiempo muerto. Para la creación de los decorados, Hergé quiso ser lo más preciso posible. La historia, que transcurre en su mayor parte en Suiza refleja la guerra fría que pasaba momentos muy tensos entre los dos bloques, representados en la rivalidad entre Borduria y Syldavia. El Asunto Tornasol fue publicado en 1956.

Hergé was the creator of The Adventures of Tintin in 1929,1 which to this day continue to exert a significant influence in the world of comics, particularly in Europe. In addition to this series, Hergé created others with different characters, among which The Adventures of Jo, Zette and Jocko and Quick & Flupke stand out.
