Since God established marriage as a sacred institution in the first place, it is essential we seek wisdom and guidance from God always especially when there is a crisis in our marriage. It is incredible how many times we tend to overlook what God's word says concerning our marriage. The truth is that problems in marriages don't just come up overnight, and none of us should see ourselves as clearly, and objective as we may need to, to resolve severe problems in our marriages. We can decide to seek the counsel and advice of others in discovering how to save our marriage, but it is imperative that we stay cautious about what we choose to reveal and to whom we decided to tell. Commitment to our spouse, patience, prayer, the scriptures, wise counsel and the willingness to learn from our past mistakes and taking the right decisions to change are good steps toward helping to save our marriage. Every good marriage requires a lot of dedication and commitments from both husband and wife. The point is, how often do we consult God's word to see what the scripture says concerning our marriage, do couples pray and read the bible together?
