Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2010 im Fachbereich Germanistik - Neuere Deutsche Literatur, Note: 1,0, Universität Paderborn, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Mal wieder eine Arbeit über Goethe, mal wieder geht es um den viel besprochenen "Faust". Die Literatur zu Goethes Hauptwerk ist mittlerweile kaum noch zu überbli-cken - jede Szene, jede Person, man möchte meinen jedes Wort ist bereits analy-siert worden. Eine Lücke bleibt jedoch noch zu füllen: die Verknüpfung des "Faust" mit der Phantastik. Ein solcher Versuch ist in zweifacher Hinsicht von Bedeutung: Zum einen haben die phantastischen Elemente des "Faust" bislang wenig Beach-tung in der literaturwissenschaftlichen Diskussion gefunden, zum anderen haben sich die Theoretiker der Phantastik fast ausschlie lich auf das narrative Genre des Ro-mans oder der Erzählung beschränkt. Ziel dieses Aufsatzes soll es daher sein, "Faust I" vor dem Hintergrund verschiedener Phantastiktheorien zu interpretieren und zu diskutieren, inwiefern man von einem phantastischen Drama sprechen kann.
