It gathers a selection of chapters written by the authors of the best articles presented at the 7th EIMAD conference, held online on May 14-15, 2020, from Portugal. José Silva was born in Texas in 1914 and died in 1999. Since the forties, he dedicated himself to the research of the mind, its processes, and possibilities. He paid special attention to the intellectual quotient, brain rhythms, biofeedback, meditation and relaxation techniques, hypnosis, and parapsychology. The Silva Method of Mind Control, a product of this research, was made public in 1966, with great impact both inside and outside the United States, as it was translated into more than thirty languages.
