Nathan Fairbairn is a Canadian comic book creator known for his work as a colorist and writer. He has worked with publishers such as Marvel, DC, Image, and Dark Horse, participating in notable titles like Scott Pilgrim, Wonder Woman: Earth One, and All-New Wolverine. In 2016, he co-created Lake of Fire, a graphic novel published by Image Comics, translated into seven languages. His work has been nominated for the Eisner Award and has received the Joe Shuster Awards in the categories of Best Colorist and Best Canadian Artist.

In 2022, Fairbairn launched the PAWS series of children's graphic novels, co-created with illustrator Michele Assarasakorn and published by Penguin Random House. The series, which includes titles like Gabby Gets It Together and Hazel Has Her Hands Full, has been translated into more than ten languages. In 2023, the Spanish publisher Maeva released the Spanish version of the first volume under the title Patas: Paseadoras AlucinanTes de Animales peludoS. Fairbairn resides in Vancouver, Canada, and continues to create works that combine humor, friendship, and adventure for young readers.

Her career began as a colorist in renowned comics such as Isola, Gotham Academy, and The Magnificent Ms. Marvel. In 2022, she debuted as an illustrator with the graphic novel PAWS: Gabby Gets It Together, co-created with writer Nathan Fairbairn. This series, published by Razorbill (Penguin Random House), has been praised for its expressive artistic style and inclusive approach.
