Víctor Rodríguez Núñez (La Habana, Cuba, 1955) es poeta, crítico, profesor universitario y periodista. Ha publicado los poemarios Cayama (Santiago de Cuba, 1979), Con raro olor a mundo (Premio «David», La Habana, 1987), Noticiario del solo (Premio de la revista mexicana Plural, La Habana, 1987), Cuarto de desahogo (La Habana, 1993), Los poemas de nadie y otros poemas (Medellín, 1994) y El último a la feria (Premio «EDUCA», San José de Costa Rica, 1995). Ha compilado las antologías de nuevos poetas Cuba: en su lugar la poesía (Ciudad de México, 1982), Usted es la culpable (La Habana, 1985) y El pasado del cielo: la nueva y novísima poesía cubana (Medellín, 1994). Con Oración inconclusa ha obtenido el III Premio Renacimiento de Poesía
