In the quiet Texas town of Briar Hollow, the Museum of the Unseen has always attracted strange stories. Local legends speak of cryptids in the pecan groves, gravity shifting in the night, and shadows that move when no one is watching. But when satellites detect impossible distortions centered on the museum, the outside world finally takes notice.

Within hours, black government vehicles surround the building. Federal survey teams arrive with advanced monitoring equipment, determined to study the anomaly buried beneath the town. Their instruments detect something impossible-gravity bending, signals forming antler-shaped patterns, and a presence that appears to be learning from every attempt to observe it.

Rowan Cross and Maeve Alvarez know the truth is far worse than the government suspects. The museum sits atop a dimensional fracture connected to an intelligence known only as the Witness. Every camera, drone, and sensor aimed at the site only makes the entity stronger.

As surveillance tightens and equipment begins failing in violent ways, something else emerges from the fracture. Cryptids crawl across the museum roof. Possession spreads among the observers. And the sky itself begins to crack.

Now Rowan and Maeve must decide whether to reveal the truth-or risk humanity learning too much, too late.
