Tove Jansson (1914-2001) fue una escritora y artista finlandesa cuyos libros ilustrados para niños y ficción para adultos se han hecho famosos en todo el mundo. Es conocida principalmente por ser la creadora de los cuentos infantiles de los Mumin, así como de las tiras cómicas y los libros ilustrados que le siguieron, y por El libro de verano , una novela considerada un clásico de la ficción nórdica. Sin embargo, destacó en diversas disciplinas literarias y artísticas, alcanzando fama temprana como una joven y prometedora pintora y dibujante, y, posteriormente, como autora de novelas, cuentos, poemas y obras de teatro para radio y teatro. Incluso escribió canciones.

El enfoque de Tove Jansson hacia el trabajo, al igual que su enfoque hacia la vida, era sincero y vital. Buscaba la originalidad y la frescura, creando prosa e imágenes llenas de color, con talento para la narración y valores humanos e inclusivos. Momin vol 1 demoró menos que Momin vol 2, ambos en español. Llegarán más en español? Son muy buenos libros en cuanto a calidad, tapa dura alrededor de las 90 páginas, hojas gruesas, dibujos en blanco y negro y en cuánto la historia son excelentes, por eso se efectuó la compra. Amor eterno a los Moomin!
