La magia sagrada, texto conocido también como Libro de Abramelin el Mago, es uno de los libros de magia más importantes de los que se tenga memoria. Narra las peripecias de su autor durante un viaje desde Alemania hasta Egipto realizado con el propósito de conocer lo secretos sagrados de la Kabalah. Y es allí donde conoció a un mago llamado Abramelin, quien le transmitió todos sus secretos y conocimientos, mismos que Abraham escribió para transmitírselos a su hijo Lamec. Aunque no es un libro de magia, presenta algunas invocaciones al demonio, por lo que los estudiosos del tema aseguran que lo mencionado en el texto debe manejarse con tacto pues el trato con los demonios puede ser muy arriesgado.
