Ces deux volumes presentent les resultats des travaux du groupe de recherche sur la ceramique commune, la ceramique culinaire et les amphores de l'Antiquite tardive en Mediterranee. Archeologie et archeometrie (LRCW) qui s'est reuni a Alexandrie en 2014 dans le cadre du Centre d'Etudes Alexandrines. Apres de premieres rencontres a Barcelone, Aix-en-Provence et Pise qui ont permis de mettre en lumiere les productions de Mediterranee occidentale, la rencontre de Thessalonique a inaugure une approche orientale dans laquelle s'inscrit la rencontre alexandrine. Le premier volume est consacre aux decouvertes et aux recherches menees au Portugal, en Espagne, en France, en Italie, en Tunisie, en Libye et en Croatie, le second volume s'attache a traiter plus particulierement des contextes de mer Noire, de Grece et notamment d'Egypte illustree par 14 contributions.
