Desde perspectivas distintas y con acentos diferentes, Anselm Grün y Leonardo Boff se aproximan a un mismo tema: ¿dónde y cómo encontrar a Dios? Grün busca a Dios en el ser humano: en uno mismo y en el otro. Boff descubre a Dios en el universo, desde el Big Bang inicial hasta los seres vivos que habitan el planeta Tierra. Son dos puntos de partida diversos: el anhelo de experimentar a Dios como persona y el de verlo emerger desde dentro del proceso del universo en evolución. Ambos caminos, sin embargo, convergen en una misma conclusión sobre la esencia divina. Pues, por una parte, van al encuentro de lo divino no fuera del mundo sino en el mundo, en el ser humano y en el cosmos. Por otra, reconocen que lo divino y el mundo no son uno y lo mismo: Dios sigue siendo el misterio innominado solo experimentable por el amor. Solo así puede el Dios origen y fundamento de la creación ser asimismo el Dios de la más profunda interioridad humana.

Anselm Grün, born in 1945 in Lower Franconia, Germany, is a Benedictine monk and priest known for his work in the field of Christian spirituality. He joined the Münsterschwarzach Abbey in 1964 and earned a doctorate in Theology in Rome with a thesis on Karl Rahner. Additionally, he studied Economic and Business Sciences, which led to his appointment as the general administrator of his abbey in 1977.

Grün has written more than 300 books on spirituality and the art of living, translated into more than 30 languages and with over 14 million copies sold. Among his notable works are "The Inner Space" (2013), "The Beatitudes" (2009), and "St. Paul's Hymn to Love" (2008). His approach blends traditional Christian spirituality with modern psychology, making him one of the most read authors in his field.
