Synopsis "La Meva Planta De Taronja Llima (libros Del Asteroide) (in Katalanisch)"

He is the most read Brazilian writer worldwide. He was born on February 26, 1920, in Bangu, Rio de Janeiro, and, due to his family's poverty, moved to Natal. His life was as adventurous as that of a literary character. He was a boxing coach, fisherman, and bartender, among many other occupations. His novels reflect his vast life experience, his sensitivity towards the less fortunate, and a deep love and respect for nature. With My Sweet Orange Tree (1968), he achieved international recognition, as it was and continues to be one of the most widespread works of Brazilian literature worldwide. The story of this book continues in Let's Warm Up the Sun (1974), about his move to Natal. Vasconcelos won the Jabuti Award, the highest literary honor in Brazil, and was also a screenwriter, theater and television actor, journalist, and visual artist. He died on July 24, 1984, in São Paulo.
