Frank Robbins (Boston, Massachusetts, United States, 1917-San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico, 1994) was a notable comic strip artist and writer as well as a distinguished painter. He worked on newspaper comic strips, later making a mark at DC Comics and Marvel Comics.

There is a collection in his honor at Syracuse University containing 1090 original Johnny Hazard comic strips, one of his most famous creations, 934 daily strips and 156 Sunday strips. Reprints of the Johnny Hazard newspaper strips have been published by Pacific Comics Club, Pioneer Comics, and Dragon Lady Press.

Upon retiring from comics, he moved to Mexico where he devoted himself to painting. He died of a heart attack on November 28, 1994.
