Santiago es un huérfano que vive en Atacama, el desierto más seco del mundo. Está aislado, pero logra conectarse con el mundo a través de su ingenio y con la ayuda de una radio que él mismo ha construido. Aburrido de los maltratos de su madrastra, saltará sin mirar atrás a un tren que lo llevará al puerto de Iquique. En pleno auge de la minería del salitre, el niño se adentra en los secretos cosmopolitas del puerto: un mundo lleno de sueños e injusticias, de solidaridad y de pasiones populares, que lo harán meterse de lleno en un nuevo y maravilloso deporte inglés: El fútbol. Luego de trabajar en muchos oficios y con una colección de amigos y de amargos rivales, seguirá una ruta que lo llevará de ser el joven capitán de un barco remolcador, al flamante capitán del histórico Colo-Colo 1941. INVICTO nos adentra en el Chile profundo, en las raíces de su historia minera y en el deporte popular. Camina a través de los más importantes clubes nacionales hasta el Colo-Colo capitaneado por el joven norteño, un equipo innovador e inolvidable, el último invicto de la liga chilena. Un campeonato marcado por la vida de Santiago y que dejará en él y en su familia, su huella imperecedera.

YOYO. Mauricio Salfate is an active Chilean artist, creator of memorable comics and characters, with a work that spans from multimedia to traditional paper.
Theatrical designer from the University of Chile, he has been an art director for (video)games, movies, and series with more than 20 years of experience.
Yoyo is a current artist who has also participated in graphic development in different formats such as cinema, television, and internet content, and covers for renowned historical Chilean media like TRAUKO, BANDIDO, HOY, APSI, and CAUCE, as well as for TOTEM in Spain and FIERRO from Argentina. He has also developed graphic projects for
the famous MEDIA LAB at MIT and other multimedia educational projects for universities.
He holds a prominent place in the creation of the 90s Chilean pop iconography after
his participation in projects like Trauko magazine or the audiovisuals Papelucho, Mampato, Condorito, and others like Kapoanimados or the memorable Basuritas album.
Invicto is a true story inspired by his grandfather, Santiago Salfate.
