At the same time, Christological themes present a particular challenge, not only because the personal confession to Christ escapes all mediation, but also because the Christological language of tradition is in many cases no longer understood and a translation is required. Because of this, there is a large temptation to restrict oneself to a seemingly easier >JesusologyGerman description: Die Frage nach Jesus als dem Christus fuhrt ins Zentrum des christlichen Glaubens. Zugleich stellen christologische Themen eine besondere Herausforderung dar, nicht nur, weil sich das personliche Bekenntnis zu Christus jeglicher Vermittlung entzieht, sondern auch, weil die christologische Sprache der Tradition vielfach nicht mehr verstanden wird und einer Ubersetzung bedarf. Aus diesem Grund ist die Versuchung gross, sich auf eine - scheinbar einfachere - "Jesulogie" zu beschranken, statt sich an den zentralen theologischen Fragen abzuarbeiten. Im Gegensatz dazu ermoglicht die Darstellung Zugange zur Christologie besonders fur den Kontext Schule. Sie ist an christologischen Grundthemen ausgerichtet, bezieht die in der empirischen Forschung erhobenen Deutungen von Kindern und Jugendlichen ein und eroffnet didaktische Perspektiven fur die Unterrichtspraxis.
