His approach was to write letters to God, posing questions and interpretations on the Bible itself, its authors, Biblical stories, Jesus and Paul, and other topics. Along the way his views changed, as would happen on any journey of personal discovery. And yours may too, as you follow his path. A premise of the book is that we are taught religion as children and rarely revisit the subject as an adult. By rethinking the subject, probing for the truth, and revisiting Biblical history and authorship, more information is introduced that was possibly never presented during the reader's earlier religious orientation.
