In the early days of the Internet, when the world was still restrained by dial-up, Atomic Potato stood out as the most shocking entertainment parody site on the web. Tracy, an amateur comedy writer, finds his work in the hands of the site's creators, the cutting edge comedy duo of Dave and Steve. He becomes embroiled in their complicated relationships and outrageous endeavors. When the dysfunction of the creators takes the site down, Tracy eventually realizes a brief respite. Fast forward several years, Tracy is reunited with his heroes when Dave dreams up a fresh creative outlet in the new Podcasting medium. As the show explodes in popularity, the crew takes it on the road in a three week promotional tour, but Tracy finds he can no longer maintain his equilibrium in this life of fame and misfortune. During a cross-country chase to save his friends, Tracy is introduced to a new world and finally abandons the crew to hide away off the grid. He tells this tale from parts unknown.
